"The room was clean, but poorly designed. We were in our room and could not use the closet or dresser because the doors don't open because the bed was in the way. Our family members stayed in a different room and had a totally different tv then ours and channels. They had a smart tv, and we had a computer screen. "Artemis is set up a quiet lane just off the main road, so there was very little noise. It is very peaceful, being close to the beach with good tavernas and a bus stop all nearby. "I booked 2 separate rooms believing the location was on Chania center as the map points to. But when we arrived to Chania and took a taxi, the location was much further out than we anticipated. Even right before I submitted my experience, the map still points to the center of Chania, but in all due respect, the staff were more than cordial and very helpful as they coordinated my excursions to the Samia Gorge and 3 more locations."

"We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home.
