"Absolutely a great, luxury hotel with the kind of service you would expect at a luxury hotel. It’s not cheap, so if you’re looking for a deal, this hotel may not be for you. But, if you’re looking for a hotel in a great location, that is also quiet, and with outstanding service, this is it. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with a small balcony. There were only 7 rooms on our floor, so the hotel is nice and quiet. And, it’s located on a quiet street, so there’s not much noise coming from...

"Beautiful historic property, some of which is in need of refurbishment. The hotel advertises a pool, which is misleading. It has an area with water but there is no access in or out of the water. The hote is set in the old historic district, which adds to the charm but access by car difficult."

"Really enjoyed our stay at Alcoba del Rey. Staff was very friendly and helpful and gave excellent dinner recommendations. Location is a bit out of the way so taxi was best way to get to the sites. We also did not realize our room did not have a shower until we were already there - only a bathtub with a wand. Overall very charming hotel. Breakfast was good too. "

"Highly recommend, great hotel, wonderful staff! Right in the heart of the city where you want to be. Speaking of the staff, my daughter had a medical issue which required a doctor. The hotel has an alliance with a local hospital who called us within 10 minutes and directed us to proper care. Fortunately, my daughter was ok but most importantly, my family was grateful and appreciative for the help. Above and beyond. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed. Breakfast was great as well!"
