"In a word... Neglected. The facility as a whole is in much need of repair. Not just the thatched roofs of the villas, but the wood rot on the eves as well as much of concrete that has broken away from the rusting rebar. The staff was courteous and location was quiet. The entrance to the resort is not clearly marked so is easy to miss. Swimming pool is small, easy to mistake as a koi fish pond. The entrance to the resort is not clearly marked so is easy to miss. Swimming pool is small, easy to mistake as a koi fish pond. Wi-Fi only accessible outside on grounds or lower level of the villa, not inside the villa. Villa appeared clean, though still managed to contract HFM Disease, had to cut our stay short because of needing medical attention on mainland. Resort refused to reimburse/refund for unused days. In the end, a not so romantic, romantic retreat. Will not be returning."
