It was right in the city so it was loud if you are staying for a business trip but thankfully we were not. Staff was nice but it seemed like the girl at the desk was annoyed we checked in.

Not a criticism of the hotel itself but the area is incredibly loud at night with music from local clubs bumping loud enough to be heard from the 6th story. The immediate area is clean but a block away reeks of urine and filth (next to the closest parking garage, for instance). There are homeless folk everywhere - many with the telltale fentanyl bend. Other than that my only complaint would be to plan for parking (nothing available at hotel aside from valet for $58/day) and the fact that the streets get blocked for foot traffic after the business day (not captured by Google Maps so plan on deviating from any routes. I'd recommend using Uber/Lyft if you don't need a rental car.

I usually choose to stay at Marriott properties because they’re usually very nice and just overall great! Not the case for this hotel, while the hotel itself is clean here are the issues I encountered… - the shower door wouldn’t close, the AC unit wouldn’t turn on which prompted a call to the front desk and I was told “I don’t know how to use them so sorry I can’t help you” and hung up, the rooftop pool is NOT actually the hotels, it’s a small awkward club/lounge (when I went up to the pool there was a networking event going on), the hotel rooms are small and stuffy with the bed being uncomfortable and the sheets scratchy. I am usually not one to write reviews but my stay here was underwhelming, disappointing and not as advertised.

Hotel is nice and the staff is there to do their job though nothing more. The hotel staff are on par with the rest of the city folks; transactional and cold. It is too bad, a warm welcome makes all the difference and keeps tourist wanting to come back. Facilities were good, bed comfortable. All and all, if you’re okay with a generic interaction, it is an okay hotel.
