However, in our room we were missing a bath towel, tissues and the cups in the bathroom had liquid in them which was not water. We asked for a bath towel and I saw the clerk get one from a laundry basket. When he gave it to us it was damp and appeared dirty. "This chateau is not a special place apart for the garden. The rooms are big but not very nice, so is the bathroom. There is no shower, only hand shower. The amenities are very poor. Beautiful property in need of attention
"The property itself and the ruins were a sight to be seen. It appears as though efforts are being exuded to improve the lodging however the toilet didn’t flush so we requested to change rooms the second night. Internet was down, pool was dirty, grounds unkept. There is no air conditioning, only a fan provided. Extremely quiet due to the remote location. Staff were as helpful as possible."
