"The Henann villas in Alona are our home for a few days when we visit family in Bohol. My little one and I can enjoy the small pool 24/7, which perfectly accommodates our wake times from jet lag. The staff has been friendly (improved over the years), and the response time to phone calls and issues have been quicker. The only thing I would suggest and wish is for the return of the breakfast buffet for their Villa guests at Christina’s café (instead of at the current general buffet places at the Coral and Sea Breeze locations). Also, they should accomodate more for minors who are staying at the Villa when it comes to using (and enjoying) the Lounge. Maybe use the outdoor part of the Lounge for those adults who are drinking alcoholic beverages, and allow kids to use the indoor/air conditioned space? The current situation I find to be too discriminating for kids and for the guest families who are staying at the Villa. I strongly suggest a more FAMILY-friendly setup. Thanks!"

Oceanica Resort Panglao formerly South Palms Resort Panglao

"There was really no reason to leave the resort, everything is there. Their spa massages were heaven! I had one each day except when we had to do the island hopping. Gym is 24/7 open which is great. just wished they open their pool earlier than 8am and had more Filipino cuisine available. Staff are friendly and most of them have great attention to detail. I just booked another stay with them in Sept."

Absolute must!

"I loved this hotel. The rooms are quaint, the layout means the cottages are private and quiet. The restaurant overlooks the sea and the food is lovely. The homemade ice cream, that you can watch being made, is delicious (I had avacado and spicy ginger) thick and creamy and the gift shop and being able to watch crafts people writing is just fab. All the staff were helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you. "

"The owners made us feel so welcome 😃 Just like family away from home. The setting was amazing ❤️ The hospitality and the service and the atmosphere was excellent ♥️ Everyone there made us felt so welcome. I was sad to have to leave. "In my opinion this is the best kept secret in Bohol, Philippines. After being disappointed by the first place we stayed on our vacation it was very refreshing to stay at this property. The lobby area spotless as well as the elevator and hallway areas leading up to our room. The room was very clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable and all the linen was fresh. The have a small cafe inside the lobby and there is a restaurant right next door so you have food options at your disposal. Additionally this is a heavily travelled area during the day and you should have no problem catching a taxi or “took took” to places around town. It’s less than a mile away from the pier in Tagbilaran. I highly recommend this hotel. Two thumbs up."
