"The hotel has a wonderful breakfast and is very close to Kastraki- a short and hilly walk. We weee able to rent e-bikes in Kastraki for the day and used them to visit each monastary. (Many people don’t know about this option). The hotel provides great robes as well as slippers. Big room and bathroom; great balcony. We had a view of the rock columns and Kastraki. Staff was helpful and we would stay again. "

"I stayed at Meteoritis Hotel for two days at end of December 2023. It is located in Kastaraki and a path leads upto the Meteora Rocks from right on front of the hotel. "This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!"

"This is by far the best hotel in town. Beautiful pool with seating friendly staff amazing breakfast options. Our room was large and bright with a balcony and a large bathroom.
