"Great stay and great staff. Rooms were a bit noisy as you can hear sounds from the hallway and other adjacent rooms. Besides that, only complaint is they didn’t have a “Do Not Disturb” sign in the room and housekeeping ended up walking in on me while I was asleep, they do start cleaning quite early. Room looked like pictures and hotel was unique. If you’re a younger traveler, the hotel caters more to an older crowd but the experience was still wonderful. "

"What a lovely hotel, very close to the embarkation point for the Lake Maggiore islands and a 20 minute stroll along the shore into the heart of Stresa. Car parking available on site which was a must for us. Room was clean and bright with a balcony. Breakfast was excellent. "I received a very warm welcome for check-in with every question answered in perfect English. I wanted to have dinner but the restaurant lights were ridiculously bright, which is strange for Italy. I chose to dine in the bar and the barman Maurizio was absolutely adorable, attentive and professional. While I was enjoying my dinner , a senior manager happened in and I discussed the lighting with him. He was personally engaged with redesigning the hotel and we enjoyed a lively conversation about the importance of lighting, which was a current project under his guidance. He explained the improvements planned in the next weeks. I complimented him on the exquisite sofas and chairs. Overall, a lovely first experience that I will likely repeat. "
