"First, I'll get the room for improvement out of the way. We went off-season, just before the tourist season began. The room had the smell of a room that has been vacant for a long time. A little musty. For the good, they were exceptionally friendly. There wasn't an in-room iron or board, but they quickly provided one upon request. The room was clean, the beds soft, and comfortable. We slept well. The wet bar and apartment refrigerator were dated, but worked well. Overall the entire room was clean. There were multiple places where we could get ready. We had a standard 2 queen room. The exclamation point for the stay was the staff. We realized we forgot a belt for my son, for prom, and the found us a place that sold belts in downtown Fish Creek. And when we were taking pictures of the kids before they left for the dance the staff took pictures too so my wife and I could be in some of the pictures. Check out Sweetie Pies next door while you're there."

"We LOVED staying at The Waters. The relaxing north woods lodge atmosphere and numerous amenities (including on site dining and a coffee shop serving Starbucks) was exactly what we needed after an 8 hour drive. The staff are amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to assure guests have an outstanding experience. The rooms are newly renovated, thoughtfully designed with families in mind and SUPER CLEAN. Rooms are well insulated /soundproof-we were never disturbed by our neighbors despite staying during “peak” weekend hours. We will definitely be back. "

"Great place to stay for the price. Went down to the pool on our 2nd night and it was closed, which was unfortunate. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Some questionable characters hanging around the far end during the course of our stay, may have been homeless, very dirty in that area. Other than that, we used the other entrances and it was fine. "
