My husband and I stayed for three nights. This was our first time visiting the area. We loved this hotel. Was clean and walkable to where we wanted to go. Staff was nice. Breakfast staff was very nice and the set up was great and food was very good. Parking was safe and secure in the private lot for guests. I loved how spacious the room was specially the bathroom. I feel in love with the whirlpool bath and walk in shower was great as well. Housekeeping kept up everyday with fresh towels and took garbage and recycling. We will definitely recommend this to anyone. We will be back on the next trip. Thanks for everything see you guys again.

First impressions was awe from the elegant front lobby, it is definitely a boutique hotel. Historic, nostalgic and fun. A few random notes.... 1. The staff were great. Pleasant, helpful, and clearly they enjoy working together. 2. We got a standard King Room - a little smaller than I had imagined from the pictures. But I do know they have bigger and better suites, etc. But we figured we wouldn't be spending much time in the room, so small was ok. 3. This is actually a big one to me - they are trying to be energy efficient - I didn't see this on the website - but what this means is there are sensors in the room, if you leave certain lights on they will automatically turn off. BUT that also means you need to make sure you use the right plugs for things like a CPAP or to charge your phone. So that was slightly annoying. And the outlet closest to my side of the bed wasn't really accessible because of the bed frame. 3. Speaking of the bed - it was one of the more comfy hotel beds but it was also on a platform that I kept stubbing my toes on. 4. Noises - for some reason when the air conditioning was on, it sounded like a toilet that kept running. Then every now and again a weird buzzing like noise. At first, I found it annoying, but eventually I was able to drown it out. 5. The shower was up to date, but the pressure was horrible. Pretty sure conditioner was left in my hair on the first day. 6. The breakfast is like most other hotels - but it is free :)
