Great hotel with great potential. but every time I interact with the staff they were on they’re phone or i got the vibe that they didn’t want to be there. Hotel room had a very weird smell and seemed like they just change the sheets and clean the toilet . No vacuum on the carpet and the sofa was full of crumbs and dirty. It was nasty actually. I couldn’t seat there. Pool was amazing and the water there is awesome!

We loved the location and everything about the property except our keycards kept not working and we had to go to the office to reset them. The code for the outside door never worked and was changed without us being told. Other than keycards and code access, it was a great stay!!

Ocean One is a fantastic property. We had a two bedroom condo for the week. It offered great views from the 180º view windows. It is only a 15 minute walk from the boardwalk along the beach, which is far enough away to keep some distance from the ruff raff. We are very happy we stayed.

This is review is to help others, because previous reviews that I read had me nervous. This may be lengthy, but i will try to be as brief as possible. I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom styles. As some other reviews stated, the pleather furniture needs to be maintained better. The couch in my room had spots that were peeling. I believe there was no battery in the smoke detector. I believe this is because the previous guests probably smoked, but this is a smoke-free property. There was makeup on the pillows, but luckily I brought my own linens. The views are good from the rooms. You do have to take out your own trash upon checkout, but you just put the bags in the hallway. You do not get fresh towels or washcloths during your stay. You must request laundry pods from the front desk and wash the towels that you have. The check-in/ office is located across the street from the hotel. The staff was friendly for the most part. The drop off area is very small and cramped, so departing early is recommended. 2 out of 3 or my room keys kept deactivating. Parking is located across the street from the hotel. Check in is at 4pm but early check in is possible if your room is ready. I arrived around 3:30 and was told to come back at 4. I came back at 4 and I was told to wait 20 more minutes. After being told this, I was offered a small discount for the inconvenience, without asking for it. My room was still not ready until a little after 5:00. In the pool area, 1 of the 3 hot tubs did not work

I love the fact that this location sits on the beach. The view of the beach from the balcony was a great view to wake up to every morning and lay down to every night. This will always be my choice for my Myrtle Beach getaways

There were visible stains in the bedroom carpet. Mold is visible on the Air Conditioner vents in the bedroom. They need to be cleaned. Had to turn off the air because I didn’t want to be breathing in mold when the fan was on. This black mold actually looks like it’s dirt but that’s actually what mold looks like. Was this property once flooded? There’s visible water stains on the toe kick of the cabinets in the kitchen. The inside of the cabinet, where the plates and cups were placed, looks dirty too might need to clean or paint. Overall, incredible location, amazing view, nice and quiet too.
