"I stayed at the treasure island hotel for one night before an early morning flight. The hotel is in the busy section of Masbate city. The staff was very friendly. I didn’t use any of the facilities except the room. The room was fairly small but comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The water pressure in the bathroom was very good. "Location of the hotel is excellent. It is centrally located so food and transportation are easily accessible for hotel guests. However, the room that I stayed-in needs upgrading. Chipped-off wall and ceiling paints, bathroom doesn't have a shower curtain so it makes the entire restroom wet. The bathroom tiles are old and dirty-looking because of the missing grout on some parts of the walled tiles. "I’ve never experienced a better staff than these wonderful people at the Altamar, my girlfriend and I had such a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful scenery, beach, pool and food! The staff surprised us on numerous occasions with a romantic dinner table and breakfast table outside with candles and beanbags! This was my first trip to the Philippines and I’ve never in my life received the wonderful treatment of the staff, thank you for everything! This is the #1 place to stay!! "
