Budget Hotels in Mapo-gu, Seoul

"Very good choice as one of the better hotels that I have stayed so far. Very convenient to take subway around. Also, there is a direct AREX train from subway station to Incheon International airport which we took this time although it is slightly longer duration of aro. 55min due to stoppages at all stations unlike the express AREX train which takes 43min from Seoul Station. But overall, it was a good stay. Recommended for those who wants to venture out of Myeong-dong area. "

"If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel, I recommend OPPA Hostel. Richard is a wonderful host and he goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable as much as possible. The room was clean and I had enough space to reorganize my luggage before I checked out. The washroom is a shower, toilet and sink combined, not ideal but you get used to it. The location is convenient and pretty quiet at night (4 min walk to Sinchon station). Would definitely return when I come back to Seoul."

"New budget hotel close to airport train station and happening areas. Our basic small room is 12 square meters with a full-size double bed from wall to wall which leaves very little working space. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was clean with *style* which fully matches the name of the hostel. The free continental breakfast was offered at the annexed coffee shop (different owner) which comprised of one cup of black coffee and one sugared cheese sandwich. Of course, one can pay for more...

"Staff can’t speak English. No service mind. I stay on Dec but don’t have heating (But in the description , write that there is) They have luggage elevator but can’t used. Not recommended."

"We loved our room on the 26th floor looking down towards the river. The only setback was that when arriving by train, having to carry heavy luggage up several flights of stairs at Gongdeok Station."

"The building quite old. Room is small as per expected. No key for your room means u can’t lock when u’re out so it feel insecure. Floor heater is fine. Bed sheet is weird and a bit dusty. There’re only 1 rest room to share/level and 2 showers and it smelled. Shower room is very inconvenience as there’s only on hook to hang all your stuff. Only shampoo and shower gel provided. At first i can’t find the kitchen since the door’s always close and TV always turn on so i thought it’s staff room....

"The bedsheet and the blanket are not clean and the mattress is not comfortable, I cannot sleep well in these few nights I stayed here. The water in the sink flowed very slow. I won’t choose this hotel again."
