"Even though rooms are basic the rest of the hotel is designed to be a relaxing easy place to stay. Several outdoor rooftop gardens with seating and great view well maintained. Staff helpful. Rooms quiet and safe. Surrounding neighbourhood is walkable with shopping and places to eat, transportation and neighbourhood vibe not so touristy."

"Coffee was too expensive. The beds are hard. The service at the bar and front desk was top notch. The staff checked in with us. They did fail to assign my family rooms together per requested. Hotel was clean, staff were so friendly. Close to the airport. No walkable areas of interest. Free breakfast should be included with such a larger tax price. No discount or free handicap parking. "

"We stayed here as a couple for a 5 night break in NYC. We chose to stay here based on affordability, location to Manhatten and the website listing showing spacious rooms. We read a number of negative reviews about the hotel, largely down to the local neighbourhood. However, this did not cause us any problems or concerns at all, despite coming back very late. The hotel staff were excellent, particularly Christina and Edgar who were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious and spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was was huge, and super comfy. The breakfast was always well stocked with what we wanted, fruit juices, coffee, hot breakfast, make your own waffles, bagels etc. The kitchen staff were also very helpful. Would we stay here again? Definitely. Would we recommend to friends and family? Definitely. "
