"The property is relatively new, well maintained and clean. It opens on the Gera Bay and close to couple beaches on the bay. It is not too far from Plomari town and beaches and just 20 mins away from Mitillini. Sofia was a great host. She gave us a tour of the amenities and made sure to give us some local tips and leave us with a small gift. Recommend the place for anyone looking for a relaxed vacation with family."

"COMFIEST BEDS ANYWHERE IN GREECE!! We loved our stay at Defkalion, the owner Toula is a wonderful host who treated everyone like family. She was clearly proud of the hotel which is newly renovated with brand new room facilities (kitchenette, utensils, bathroom/shower, furniture etc). She loved sharing the fresh apricots from the tree in the hotel with us. Delicious! She also hosted a cooking class which was great fun. "What a little gem on the island of Lesvos! We took an impromptu trip to the island from Turkey, and we enjoyed the hotel (and especially the hospitality of the family that owns it) so much that we extended our stay. We got there by taxi from the ferry terminal in Mytilene for about 35 euros. The hotel serves breakfast and snacks, and there is a great taverna in town for lunch and dinner (about a 10 min walk).
