"Areas of property were under construction. The property is older. Elevators are older & slow. Carpets, including area rug in room were quite dirty & dingy. However, hotel is in a nice quiet location & easily walkable to dining & shopping. The staff was very friendly.they have ample easy parking. would consider staying here again. "

" We stayed 2 nights at the Lakeside Inn. Great location, very clean, great view of the lake. Short walk to town with lots of shopping and dining options. The pool was beautiful! We had breakfast and lunch right at the inn, both were excellent, and service was top notch. The bartender Lauren makes a great Manhattan! We would recommend anyone going to Mt Dora to stay at the Lakeside Inn. "
