My review more than the service/stay is about something very odd that happened.
Regarding the service and hotel itself, is not bad at all if you're looking for an affordable place. The food from the restaurant/casino adjacent was good.
My husband and I booked this hotel from April 26 - April 30. On Sunday April 28th, I received a call to the phone in the room from front desk at 2:00 AM. The call woke me up, so I answered it. It was a woman asking me if we wanted to extend our stay and basically add Sunday night. I explained to her our check-out wasn't until Tuesday to which she said oh and hung up.
I stayed up for 2 hrs thinking how odd that call was. That same night (Sunday) I went to the front desk and brought it up. The lady I spoke with said she didn't know who called but that they don't call guests at that time unless there is a problem/emergency and that they never call to offer to extend a stay. She said she would bring it up to the manager. I asked again a different person the next day, but she knew nothing about it. We left without knowing who made the call or why did we get that call.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I have to say something in me didn't feel safe. I couldn't help but wonder if maybe someone was trying to check if we were in our room. It is a shame but I will not be staying here again because I wouldn't feel safe.
