"Great location!"

"Staff here are friendly and super helpful, great service. Coral reef in front of hotel were not much to see. You still can see fish and turtle. You can rent a boat to snorkel around island for reasonable price. Breakfast good choices were okay. Overall we were enjoyed and happy. We would be back and stay here again if we come back to this Island. "

"Pool was good Cover on bed would be better if not one big one should be 3. Air con was good. Shower wand didn't work properly. Bathroom door was hard to open. ? Glass door for the toilet is a bit strange. Otherwise the place is great. Big rooms. Friendly staff "

"You can swim off the beach with a snorkel mask and find one of the best reefs including sea turtles, and if you wake up early before the tour groups or are lucky black tip reef sharks too. Area was clean, and pools were gorgeous. Good breakfast but poor layout creating a few traffic jams. Also the amount of stairs or hills you have to walk is too much for some, also expect taxi to charge 400B one way"

"We loved our stay here. The staff wax great and the room was nice. We had the sky suite (be prepared to get your steps). The view was to die for. "

"Lovely location right on the beachfront and close walk to all bars and restaurants. Pool was good but small for the size of the property. Not enough sunbeds. Most were towel reserved. But could lie out in the beach. Beach towels provided. Great to sit in the restaurant and watch sunset. Breakfast was average. Few options for vegetarians. "

"This hotel is in a great area full of restaurants and small shops and walking distance to the beach. The staff are amazing. Friendly and helpful The breakfast is off the menu and is very good. Stayed 4 nights and would stay here again"

"Location was great and walkable to the beach and dining choices. Staff was great and helpful. However, bathrooms smelled horrible and it did not go away. The smell also carried into the hallways. "

"The view to Shark Bay was outstanding from our suite. There are 276 steps from the sea to Reception at the top. A great workout everyday. The pool area is beautiful - a small gym served me well. The property is high on a hill top w a steep walk down (or up) to the main road or villages - the property is a ways from the main villages so you’ll need taxi or hotel transport w various drop and pick-up times - the main dining room/restaurant was lovely - great food and service when we choose to dine "

"It was very disappointing and the worst stay ever when you see everything on website is lovely such as view and room condition. However, the truth hurts because I experienced below... 1. staff was unhelpful since he asked me to carry my back here and there since he had a motorbike to travel around for servicing. 2. the toilet leaked horribly 3. the curtain was broken and left there behind the sink. I felt uncomfortable at night 4. dusk found and water glasses, toilet rolls are put...

"We had a wonderful stay at Coral View! We loved the seclusion of the hotel from the busy and more active area and with the hotel offering shuttle service at a very reasonable price, we were able to visit the more active areas of Koh Tao! A perfect balance for what we needed from our stay on the island! The views were stunning and the staff were incredible! Only recommendation is bring a water shoe to wear on the beach as there is loads of shells and coral and it would make walking on the beach...

"Always great to stay there. I love the bungalows with their great view. They are quite simple, but that's all I need. Very quiet bay. WiFi was also pretty good in the Restaurant - doesn't work what well outside of it though. Would go there again."

"Great quiet spot north of all the busyness, but walkable 10mins along the beach. Good to escape the burnt backpackers and chill. Sea good for a dip/snorkel. Rooms are large. Happy hour cocktails on beachfront. Sairee beach was not really for me after the chilled vibe of the south but worth it for the amazing sunsets."

"The beach at this hotel is super pretty and room bed comfy with nice balcony ocean view. Chill / social vibes overall at hotel. Surrounding area super quiet especially at night if that’s what you’re after. I didn’t like the bathroom of the room, water spraying everywhere from shower with no curtain. Also no water bottles in room and no cleaners came in. Overall cheaper stay and still a spacious comfort room to stay in. "

"It is a beautiful hotel among the nature outside the town on top of a hill with a beautiful scenery where you can see a wonderful sunset and admire the sea.we had a comfortable room with a balcony where we go hear the birds and see squirrels.2 big swimming pool by the restaurant ,free shuttle to the town at specific time,pleasant and friendly staff.I highly recommend this hotel but be prepared with mosquito repellent ."

"The only part of the resort that is beachside is the check in desk/ restaurant. The rest of the rooms are across the street, and you can hear bikes and cars until late at night. I stayed four nights and housekeeping never cleaned my room or provided water. "

"This stay was a dream. All the villas have private pools and kitchens. The bed was superb and the villa fantastic. You have a great degree of privacy and cannot see into the other villas. The owner Guy was very nice, great communication and arranged ferry tickets, snorkeling tour, and motor scooter all payable at the end of the stay. Highly recommend this place! "
