"The hotel is located by the main shopping estate in the area, not exactly in Cognac but easy enough to drive into Cognac on one straight road. Wifi is not very well connected. I used it in the common dining area. Breakfast is fine. Parking is ample. Communal kettle by the entrance did not go down well for me. I have to fetch water from my room to fill the kettle and boil it in the public area. Not great value for money but is acceptable and adequate for a stopover."

"This is a very centrally located hotel that was ideal for visiting Cognac. The room we had was spacious, clean and had a fully accessible bathroom that would be nice if you had mobility issues. "Stunning brand new boutique hotel, very attentive service - staff can't do enough for you. Rooms are exquisite with really high end furnishings and decor. The large chandelier in the bar is a piece de resistance! You can also try sensibly priced cognacs from the extensive bar list. The cocktails are great too! Cognac is a lovely town to visit but would recommend eating in one if the hotels restaurants. "

Christine (the owner) could not have been more helpful, she was genuinely concerned about making sure everything was OK and you were having a good time - which I was! "This is a former abbey partially converted to a hotel . There is an awesome cathedral on the property and the most unique musical carousel that allows you to play instruments as it turns. We had rooms with showers although there are also less expensive rooms with showers down the hall. The main commercial street with restaurants etc is a 10 minute walk. Free parking; no TVs. Extremely restful and charming."

"This is a fabulous and unique place. A gorgeous 2-bedroom cottage with fully equipped kitchen and spacious lounge, outdoor furniture. Great shower, comfy beds and loads of cushions - very very comfortable.
