This hotel is very outdated and need serious maintenance. Carpets alol dusty and worn out, I had to take my allergy meds for 2.5 days we stayed. Bathroom tub plugs in while taking regular shower. Paint coming off, things are rusty, wall papers peeling off. Out of 3 elevators only one was working. Parking not convenient and extra expense. The hotel staff at front desk not polite or hospitable. It’s definitely a waste of our money and online impression of the hotel is absolutely false.

It was very centrally loated. I could not hrt certain channels on the tv to work. The bed was comfy. We stayed for four days and room services did not come once.

The staff was friendly but not to knowledgeable. Offered two upgrades but then told rooms were not available. Disability doors deactivated by 11 but still able to use manual doors which didn't make sense. Hotel was clean but not the best for disabled people. Pedestrian walkway closes at 9 so have to take the hills back from boardwalk. Food court on next level was nice. Narrow room doors if you have a wheelchair to navigate through. A lot of construction around the area but quiet at night. Parking is a nightmare takes a bit of time to get to the right spot for the hotel excess.

Elevators have a mind of their own. 2/3 elevators were down basically our whole stay and doors were consistently shutting on people. You took your life in your hands with those doors shutting on to you while trying to enter (RIP to my arm getting smushed). Other than that the hotel was nice, quiet and conveniently located for our trip!

The wife and i went to Halifax for the day to enjoy a little getaway before our real honeymoon, and we did nor enjoy our stay, the small issues would be strong smell in the room itself, i myself loved it but my wife not as much, the shower had a few old pubic hair on the shower curtain still minor for me but the worst was there was only one elevator working and our room was located on the fourth floor right beside it, that elevator is old and not the most quiet either. It was used all night and it kept us up, after a full week being stress from the wedding preparation we needed a good break, but between the elevator and the old A/C making noise we barely slept, woke up as tired and had to drive 4 hours back home. The location of the hotel was great, i was easy to walk to the board walk and visit the area, i highly recommend going to Halifax and Peggys Cove but until the rooms are renovated and the elevators are fix/replace i would not recommend this location. Staff did validate our parking to make it free for the night but this sis not make up four our night that was suppose to be our little getaway.
