"Although not a typical B&B (no breakfast offered), we would readily return to this accommodation. It is charmingly situated in the old town and very conveniently located to tour the beautiful city of Ghent. The proprietor was exceedingly friendly and helpful. It is small, consisting of two rooms and has no frills, but it was comfortable and met all our needs. It would me more convenient, if the owner accepted credit cards. Cash only is accepted now. "This hotel has a lot of character. I hear when people say it could benefit from some modernization, but not at the expense of making it another cookie-cut hotel. It os definitely a wonderful choice for travelers looking for experiences, rather than for tourist looking for the standard Marriott. In addition, Peter, the hotellier is quite a character, efficient, professional and nice personality. I would stay here again if I come back to Ghent."
