Very comfortable accommodations with friendly staff. The breakfast menu was all I could have ever hoped for and more. I will certainly recommend the Mespil to anyone I know who is going to Dublin.

Elegant modern property in lively little neighborhood on Grand canal. Very well managed with many attentions paid to little details. Friendly courteous helpful international staff. Easy access to Dart and city center by walking or bus. Second stay here and will definitely be back.

The hotel was clean and very nicely appointed. The staff was very polite. Our rooms location was not the greatest as our windows were over an ally that I guess was used for trash pick up, and deliveries. It was a bit noisy. The bathroom also had a bit of a foul smell, that same smell was in the lobby one day. If I went back I would try and stay at a location more centrally located.

The reception staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant (the Lounge) was a real disappointment. It took over 40 minutes for us to receive a simple cheese plate. The waitstaff was oblivious and not checking with customers to see if there were issues. Only one server apologized for the delay and kindly offered a glass of wine to compensate for the ridiculous delay.
