For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops! This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. Not many other people otherwise the cottages may have been a bit close together, also quite near the road (Pinotage cottage). Home from home accomodation.
"Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay."

"One of the best experiences of my life. The property is beautiful with amazing views. The booking includes the lunch, dinner, Breakfast and 2 game drives. Be sure to get to the property by noon and enjoy the views and Spa treatments (affordable and very relaxing) the sunset game drive was beautiful and we saw Giraffe, lions, elephants, hippos and zebras. The staff is helpful and do their best to make our experience very entertaining and exciting. Loved our stay!"
