"Spacious room. Bathroom was not very modern. Good water pressure and temp. Super friendly reception. There were bugs in the room including a huge cockroach, some ants and mosquitos."

"I arrived and was all good, a friend ring and I said call in. My partner was settling our child at my parents place. I did the decent thing and went down and told the owners that a friend was going to stop by on his way home. The owners flipped out and a long story short they kicked me out, we were up here for a funeral and there were no motels in nelson. We ended up sleeping on the floor at my parents as there house was full"

"Wonderful restful lodge across from Motueka River with mountains beyond. Chere Harris is a great host. She fed us great breakfasts and also made a salad and purchased mussels so that we could cook the rest. Couldn't recommend more highly!"
