"Our room was charming and immaculately clean. The AC worked well and the soundproofing was exceptional. We could not hear the street noise at all. My only "complaint" is the lack of down or feather pillows. The hotel only has friber-filled and memory foam pillows (king sized). Maybe these are the most common in Europe, but for the price point the hotel should offer feather pillows upon request. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and was well-stocked with hot and cold options. ...

"The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean and the staff are as welcoming and friendly as you could possibly hope for the only letdown is the location is a little far out from the main parts of barcalona so your reliant on public transport to get about as the centre is just a little bit too far out. But other than that we had a amazing stay"

"This is an older hotel, which gives the private and public rooms some old school flavor. It is right next to the main promenade and in the middle of the Gothic quarter, which is full of history and restaurants. "

"Decent hotel. Great location - right off of the popular and touristy Gran Via street. The apartment had large floor to ceiling windows which were extremely good at soundproofing. However, due to the location in a very busy area of town, some sound still managed to come inside. This is a price you pay for the great location. Overall, a decent hotel at a great location."

"Great hotel close to the Madrid Airport that offers a free shuttle means you can get some sleep on a long layover at night. I appreciate the option to self check-in online, it saved a few minutes which was perfect to get me to my room and asleep faster."
