"Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and free. It was easy for us to drive downtown, only about 10 minutes at rush hour, to park near the Charleston Music Hall for a concert. The property was clean and comfortable. It could use some updating in the bathroom. The tub surface was peeling off. Breakfast was great with many options."

"The one thing that would make marina inn perfect would be two comfortable deck chairs to sit out and watch the activity on the water!!! "

"It’s immediately adjacent to the USC campus which made navigation easy. The staff is very pleasant and it’s very clean. I was surprised that they charged for coffee on the morning. $3 for a16 ounce cup of coffee seemed a bit like nickel and diming. "

"Loved the view from the room and the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was nice and dinners I had there were good. Room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and it was a 5 minute drive to historic Charleston. The hotel also offered hourly drop offs and pick ups in the center of the historic district. Only negative was that there was only one elevator working the entire week i was there. At busy times you could have a wait and sometimes have to wait for it to come back...

"This is an older building that has been freshly painted. Our room was very clean; the bed comfortable and the towels were soft. No bells or whistles ie: in-room coffee maker or refrigerator, but it was adequate for our needs, being close to a wedding venue accross the bridge."

"Staff was friendly, room was nice and comfy the lobby smelt so clean, the ONLY down side was you can’t control the AC in the room! It cuts off when you leave and cuts back on when you come back so for the next little bit after arriving it was hot like 76 degrees in the room but after being in the room a little bit it cools off "
