"I stayed here with one of my good friends for a weekend of walking and heritage visits. It was wonderfully quiet and remote, but quite near to lots of great parts of that area of Somerset, including being able to walk from the B&B across the hills to Montacute House. The owner couldn’t do enough for us, and the rooms were super clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. "The room was not as we expected. You opened the door straight onto the double bed. There were just about enough room to walk round the bed. 2 kited steps up to the bathroom. No chairs in the bedroom as so small. No tea and coffee facilities in the room, you helped yourself from a cupboard in the reception area. "Room and bathroom lovely and good location in town. We were told it would be noisy at night as it's over a cocktail bar and near a night club. Ear plugs were provided which we thought was a nice touch. If you are prepared to put up with the noise it's a good place to stay."
