"Nicely new renovated rooms- and great views if you get those rooms. Initially gave us a view of the trees vs the sea but rectified right away. An issue with the HVAC- kept buzzing on and off. For the price in Taormina quite good and the breakfast is spectacular- with views from the rooftop. A nice balance of traditional and modern design."

"Hotel Belvedere sits just steps down the street from the old town, with lovely views of the ocean below. The staff greeted us with Prosecco and smiles, and offered wonderful dining recommendations. "We stayed at the hotel Royal for 2 nights in October. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the centre, however it is up quite a steep hill, so if you have a lot of baggage it’s not ideal. The room itself was ok, not as nice as the one shown in pictures but the bed was comfortable. Sadly the room smelled of feet and we had no toilet seat and had request one.One of the main reasons for booking was the jacuzzi, however we later found it was €30 per couple per hour to use.
