"This was booked last minute, during a very busy weekend in Glasgow and Edinburgh, due to being let down with our previous booked accommodation not being available. The price was better than most of the other hotels and in my opinion, very reasonable. The hotel was clean and tidy, as were the rooms. The staff were very nice, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent although, again only my opinion, the tatty scones were just slightly over fried. Plenty of option for everyone’s tastes....

"Great for food in the evening because you are close to local shops and cafes/ restaurants also subway stop. Windows don’t open. So much dust on radiators and sink dirty. Bad smell in room. Parking is based on first come based only. Reception man upon arrival was fantastic extremely nice and helpful. Night lady with short light hair on reception was very rude and snappy. Terrance used for smokers - most often harsh substances that you can really smell. "

"The property was in a quiet area close to all the places we wanted to go and with a wonderful park nearby. The staff were amazing and able to help with all our needs. The only issue I had was the worn furniture and the scratches on the wood floors. "

"Lovely small hotel, was given a call prior to my stay by Lyndsey, she was able to answer question about getting from airport. Very helpful and she gave us an upgrade on arrival, first time ever had this. Fabulous spacious room, very comfortable."

"Not the hotel's fault but there are major roadworks outside at the moment and the road was gridlocked & noisy. Apart from that the lift system was 'quirky' with one list out of order for much of the time. Other than that we had a good time, the hotel is very well placed between the Royal Mile and Princes St. Excellent buffet style breakfast with a very full range of options."
