"Great location for a family break and a spot of local island hopping. Good food and good choice for kids. Only minor quibble was the time taken in the evenings to be served, but it is the same for many hotels just now as they deal with staff shortages thanks to Brexit. Overall a great hotel in a beautiful location."

"The staff were really helpful. Nothing too much trouble including giving us use of a shed for our cycles. Great breakfasts. One very small thing in the room the shower head kept falling down. "

"Would if liked a diwnstairs bedroom for my husband as he really strugglwd to walk up the stairs but not sure if there were any downstairs apart from that all good "

"No a/c in rooms, but fan provided. No screens on windows. History video was wonderful. Buffet breakfast was okay. Ran out of fresh fruit salad. Dinner okay, service rushed. Grounds lovely. Reception and management staff friendly and helpful. Our room needed updating. Bed not a king, as represented. Furnishings tired. Whole hotel needs updating. Bath tub too narrow and hot/cold shower knobs in a bad location. Bathroom window would not open."

"Upgraded us to a four poster bed room I. Arrival for our wedding anniversary. Bar was a bit crazy with one person serving us and an entire wedding plus other guests. Dinner was outstanding - best meal I’ve had in ages although there was a long wait for first drink then too! will defo come back but they should try to get more bar staff."
