"We had a great stay at this hotel. Yes, it's a little old but it's clean. It has a restaurant on site which serves good food and drinks. We ate there twice during our 4-night stay. The swimming pools and hot tubs are very nice and well-maintained. The staff are helpful and friendly. There are restaurants and supermarket across the street and there are also food trucks next to the hotel. Dukes is walking distance if you walk on the boardwalk and the beach. It's a nice location. Walkable to many restaurants including Whalers village which is right next door. 2 drawbacks : shower temperature was off and hard to adjust, shower was cold for at least 5 min before becoming warm and a very loud noise was always present coming from the generators in whalers village. "Rooms were nice and roomy for our large group. Sofa bed, is well , a sofa bed, fine for smaller guests. Kitchen didn't have measuring spoons or cups. Knifes were dull. Lobby and hallways are kept clean. Rooms where very clean upon arrival. Close walk to beach, parks, restaurants, shopping. Rooms we booked had 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. We would always check before showering if anyone else needed the bathroom first. "

Need pest control (roaches), asked us to take shoes off but floor carpet felt uncomfortably moist, couldn’t really decide the cleanness of carpet due to color, bathroom smells odd, slippery bathtub, low shower pressure. "My husband and I had a great stay at Maui Hill. The condo we had is very spacious and has a great view of the ocean. It is a little dated and so, there is a little bit of "old" smell (not a moldy smell) when we first came in but as soon as we open all the windows and let the sea breeze in, then it's fine. "I love the fact that it was 3 minutes away walking from Napili beach . Close to Bobs rentals and close to groceries stores. The one bedroom suite was really nice!! The only thing I did not like that the roosters would start singing like at 330am so I had to turn on a video with raining sounds that way I could hear the singing of the roosters and it did help . "

"Castle Waikiki Shores was absolutely the best!! Our room was Amazing, breathtaking views, right on the beach, walking distance from EVERYTHING. Husband had an amazing 50th birthday! Very clean, great staff and was the hotel very very peaceful!! We enjoyed the Friday night fireworks right from our balcony, with love, laughter and cocktails!!
