"It is a lovely hotel in a great location but it is starting to get a bit shoddy. Our aircon was very noisy and couldnt cool the room. Staff are frosty. This was my 10th visit to this hotel. No recognition. The spa staff told us we could have a free pass for an initial visit to the indoor pool but when we asked for this at reception, not only did they deny this, they looked at us like we were low life. "It was a good family hotel, could do with other restaurants on site, 7 nights is more than enough and you probably want to eat out as the buffet can get very tired and their Italian restaurant on site can be difficult to book with having to be book 2 days in advance. There's adult only sections but naturally are close to children areas so felt bad as no doubt they heard many screaming kids. The rooms were clean enough though expect dirty feet by the end of it, highly recommend the Merlin rooms...

Hotel staff always on hand to assist, Guest Experience booked our excursions and when we asked if it was possible to move rooms to get the evening sun on our balcony they were very accommodating, as promised the very next morning we moved rooms! "cleaners came late in day and in the morning seem to start later when people coming to sit by the pool. Excellent food and entertainment. Staff fabulous! Couldn’t fault the service or hotel. This was our first visit and will be back. "
