"Had an enjoyable stay at the Hitching Post. Character little hotel in nice community and area. Terrific access to Black Canyon of the Gunnison North Rim! Hotel owners were the sweetest and gave us a great first impression of the place! Room was cozy and nice. Little fridge, microwave, AC, smart TV. Room coffee was terrible though 😜"

"The Mountain View room was AMAZING!!! Erin, the hostess with the mostest, was amazing!!! Their Inn is beautiful- the grounds were breathtaking!! It was quiet and peaceful!! I highly recommend this for your stay anywhere in the area!! They helped make our trip for a funeral a beautiful experience and offered serenity!! Thank you Erin!! "Front desk women were helpful and informed. First floor hears footsteps above which could be a nuisance. Breakfast included was the best at a hotel buffet I've used, and staff in breakfast room hustled to accommodate everyone! Coffee could be stronger and better quality. Overall a nice hotel with good staff! Would recommend and stay again"
