"4.5 stars. Minus a half star purely for room size and lack of shelf space in bathroom. If I’d been alone it would’ve been perfect but for two people it was a little small and trying to maneuver around one another was a bit silly. Bathroom size was great tho- would just be lovely to add some shelves for places to set cosmetics bag on, etc. there was definitely room for a couple shelves. Staff was friendly, bed was wonderful, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. "

"If you want delicious food in the evening and a bed for the night in a pretty village, then you won’t be disappointed. Staff were friendly too. However the room was tiny and very dated and the en suite was not much more than a cupboard, soundproofing is very poor. Breakfast was a little bit Fawlty Towers, I was told a flat white wasn’t a problem but was given a cup of black coffee,Asking for hot milk seemed to be disconcerting. "A great hotel option for our one-night stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we used the pool which was very good. We didn't have an evening meal there however the buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of options. The room was very comfortable and although paying for parking isn't the best option it was secure parking and there was a discount for guests."
