Very friendly, attentive, dog friendly staff at this Candlewood Suites. The staff checked in with us periodically to see how things were going which I appreciated. The bed and bedding was very comfortable, the room was ample size with storage for clothing , shoes, etc. The flat screen tv was large with many stations to choose from. Loved the always available free hot coffee in the lobby. Mount Pleasant Park was a 15 minute walk from the hotel, a great place to walk our dog to and take in the sunset. My only issue with our stay was lack of hot water to our kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and to the shower. My shower at 5 am started out lukewarm and switched to cold. My husband had no issue with his shower at 8 am. One would think the hot water might run out at 8,not 5! Never got hot water in the bathroom sink, sometimes had wam water from the kitchen sink.

This was about a 9 out of 10. Easy to make it a 10. Chair in our room very worn and threadbare. It was an efficiency unit but no table and only 1 chair to sit on...there were 2 of us. More than 1 set of cutlery and dishware per person would have been nice. Staff friendly and attentive. Very convenient to downtown Charleston and Boone Hall.

The hotel was well maintained, clean and quiet. The area was walkable and convenient for my needs. Room was very comfortable, although one room has no ac vent? It was comfortable with the door open, but would have been stuffy if closed.

Like an apartment , nobody came in during the week so we were comfortable leaving stuff there and the food available in the lobby was suitable to cooking in our room so that we did not waste time going out for breakfast every morning and the laundromat was handy
