"Nice hotel, but room was very small. Hard to place your suitcase anywhere and still have access to the things in the room. They have bike rental in the hotel, which was very convenient for us. Just make sure that you have enough air in tires ! We were biking with half flat tires, so when we reached downtown I was soooo tired. All bike stores were closed on our way and we did not have pump. "

"Stayed here with my tour group the night of October 8. The main building of the hotel is over 300 years old, and this hotel screams character. Some of the stairs are quite steep, but have no fear, they have elevators. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms felt a bit spartan but were very comfortable. "Ignore the old reviews on this hotel. My daughter was very worried about it after reading some reviews.We had 2 rooms in the new block above the Breakfast area, they were roomy, very modern and super clean. Went into Groningen on the train 100 metres from the hotel, again very good service and super local train. Parked on the street opposite hotel, no problems as this is a very small, quiet and safe German village. We all loved it."

"Our hotel room was separated From the restaurant in a separate 2-storey house with ca. 4 hotel rooms. We were very happy with it. Clean , modern room with TV, nespresso coffee machine and tea, a (remote gas fire) fireplace, shower and bath tub. The plug sockets are baby-safe. There was an excellent choice for breakfast with inside and outside tables in the restaurant across the street that is part of the hotel.
