Great stay as it was my first time in Barcelona. The room was clean and specious. Towels were provided daily and the breakfast was magnificent. The staff thankfully spoke English and were extremely kind and understanding with any and all questions you may have. The subway and bus stations are a few minutes away and there’s a super market a block away if you need anything. Overall great stay and the neighborhood and area around the hotel is safe.

Positives The hotel is in an excellent location. Quite quiet and safe with public transport and shops, restaurants all very close.10 minutes from Sagrada Familia, 15 minutes from Arc De Triumph and a beautiful park and around 40 minutes walk to the center and the marina area. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful when we needed some advice regarding transport. The downsides Our room overlooked a wall. We literally didn't have any other view. Not a huge problem but it was disappointing for the price we paid. We were also unable to regulate the settings on the air-conditioning so the room was very cold sometimes. Another downside was that you could hear everything. Even people next door, just having a normal conversation, staff working in the morning etc. Overall, we had a great time in Barcelona. It's an amazing city and the hotel was a great base to stay in, especially if you manage to book at a good price. Enjoy

Property was clean & convenient to Sagrada Família & easy walks to Gothic Quarter & la Rambla. Laundry is a service, not self laundry, although I found LaBar across the street offers laundry (wash & dry small load was €8) and you can enjoy a beverage and snack while you wait, enjoyable experience. Limited spots to eat within a block, Kersol was a lovely place to eat. Disappointments were that Barcelona city could do a better job at keeping city clean, & residents should pickup after their dogs.

Reception staff was very helpful and kind, recommending places and restaurants. Issues with cleanliness however (found 1 cockroach in the bathroom). Though cleaning was indicated as daily, it was clearly not done properly (below toilet seat not cleaned, hairs found in the bathtub, bedsheets not changed with stains, complimentary instant coffee and tea were not refilled). The air conditioning was forcefully turned off and we had to open the window. This resulted in me and my partner catching a very bad cough from day 2, and still ongoing. Breakfast was simple but got the job done.
