"The location is great. The stairs are brutal with a suitcase, but I knew about that going in so I can't knock the place. The views for breakfast were great. Check-in was a mess, the host said someone would meet us at the dock, but no one showed. The host does not belong in customer service. I asked if we could have breakfast at 7 so we could have an early start and she told us we would have to make our own breakfast. She insisted breakfast should be at 8:30. "The Hotel Villa Annalara is a peaceful oasis that is a short walk from the busy central street of Amalfi and the Harbour. We enjoyed the breakfasts on the terrace and our own shared terrace with a view of the mountains, the town, and the sea. There are lots of climbs and stairs in the Amalfi Coast so we were grateful for the elevator (especially with our luggage.)"

"Even though the beach was 426 steps down, it was close enough to visit every day. The breakfast was great. We accidently took a towel down to the beach and were reprimanded. Overall, a nice place to stay. We would stay right on the ocean next time."

"A very nice b&b. The breakfast is first rate and they also provide a mini bar with drinks you can draw from to enjoy on your personal patio. The rooms are small but have everything you need."
