"This is a lovely place once you find it - it’s a bit off the beaten track. Nice gardens and setting but nobody there. The housekeeper met us as we arrived at midday but she didn’t know which room we were supposed to be in so sent us away and said check in was at 2. Our room was big enough with nice bathroom and separate terrace which opened onto the garden and pool area. Another couple arrived about 8.30 the following night and nobody was there to meet them. "The price was much too high for what you received. The bedrooms were tiny with no touches of "niceness". The breakfast was much too basic, and was a huge disappointment. In the end, it was somewhere to JUST spend the night. Our family was incredibly disappointed. The grounds and general entrance to the hotel were ugly and not at all kept up. We kept on thinking about the potential that this location actually had. They could have half of the rooms that they do, but increase the size of the ones...
