"It's a simple hotel, not in a derogatory way. It's an inexpensive option. The hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful. The location is perfect for dining and shopping in old town, five minute walk, and the main train station is just over five minutes away as well."

The staff at this hotel are extremely friendly and helpful (provided ice for us, held our luggage, helped us with directions). Our only 1 concern was with the beds, which were very hard. "First people need to know to use the Tram from the train station. The walk involves hills and stairs, very hard with suitcases. Suggest you go to the Info Center in the train station before you head to the hotel. It was very helpful. You can book transportation and tours in the SBB office in the train station as well. The hotel is totally self serve, you communicate via WhatsApp, so very out of synch, not helpful. The room and bathroom were very nice with air conditioning. The Tram is just...

"This hotel was exactly as expected, however there is a very loud church bell that sounds at 7:00 and then every 15 minutes after. Not ideal if you’d like to sleep in at all."
