"Great place to stay "

"Great dive hotel on a lovely beach. Communication prior to stay was excellent, room was clean and comfortable and bar restaurant was awesome. Most importantly, they were brilliant to dive with - the first boat out in the morning and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again when we’re next in Malapascua"

"Great central location on Malapascua. Very handy to be able to charge food and bar tab to room at Ocean Vida on the beachfront. Breakfast was wonderful too. Only one downside was that the a/c in our sons bedroom was noisy and did not cool the room down. Otherwise a great stay :)"

"Perfectly acceptable hotel with a pool, large rooms and a restaurant. Pluses: Huge room with a separate toilet and shower room. Large beds with comfortable mattresses and decent pillows. Decent sized pool. On site restaurant. Close to the pier. Minuses: No fruit for breakfast. Pool very deep very quickly with no ledge to stand on so everyone gathers in one small corner. You need to pay for drinking water, Dive centre can be noisy early morning. Restaurant did not serve any fresh food,...

"We drive 50kms from Ormoc hoping for a nice stay for the night. Disappointed. We expected the small rooms (we got #4), but the airconditioner isnt working. ‘It must have run out of freon sir’, suggested the worker, but didnt do anything about it. We asked for another room, but it’s AC also wasnt strong enough for the room with ambient temp is too warm. Since we’ve let the AC on for 2 hrs while we went out for dinner, at least the room’s heat has dissipitated at least. So we opted to remain...

"Good location away from the buisy and noisy big little village, now with motorbikes that constantly honking. Nice personnel and very good and tasty korean food. Poor maintenance. Its a quiet place that's very good"

"This is an old hotel, but glad I stayed. Had a front room, stunning view from the 5th floor out into the ocean. The view is even while sitting on the bed. Note: when you come out of the hotel, go right, past the pier, to where the six giant markets are, find the seafood, we bought lobster, crab, shrimp, then walk back the opposite direction, past the hotel, keep walking till you see all the little shops cooking food, they will cook your seafood for a very small price. There are about 20 long...

"its alright, be careful with *fan* rooms. it doesnt have air condition. breakfast was terrible. plain toast and egg thats it."

"Avoid room 200a it's small, needs paint, walls in bath need bleached. AC, weak. Doesn't circulate well, a ceiling fan would alleviate. Needs electrical box cover next to bed, . And put outlet, a nightstand would be welcomed. Peek in room across as w was being cleaned. It seemed much nicer. Even with those fixed, unable to fix run size, and window in room just opens to hallway. workers friendly and helpful. "

"the Nemos Dive Resort was fantastic, the staff and managment went out of their way to ensure every need was met. The food at the restaurant was out of this world. My room was excellent and extremely clean and very modern, at night the management had theme nights at the bar and made sure everyone staying there joined in and had fun. The best holiday I have ever had. look forward to a return holiday as Nemo's Dive resort is unbailable. LOVED IT. "

"For my money, Blue Corals is the best value on Malapascua Island. The staff are amazing and even gave me a free upgrade to a room with a private balcony with a ocean view. The Mango Pancakes at breakfast Time are to die for, my one and only complaint is it seems the island shuts down around 8pm and their is nothing really to do."
