"The property was comfortable and clean.The staffs very friendly.The only problem was we didn't have water in our shower for the last two days"

"Nice room, they kindly upgraded me. There was a 6.0 earthquake while here and the building coped well! No cracks or problems. Absolutely loved the american style restaurant upstairs with live music and great food. "

"we always have a great stay when we stay at the Rosvenil. It has become our reliable and go to place to stay when in Tacloban. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the restaurant has great food with generous portions and the staff in the hotel and the restaurant always treat us well. you are sure to have a great stay here."

"A surprise to find a lovely hotel there. There was a Valentines dinner with a large buffet an a free cocktail. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was fine. Strong hot water. The breakfast was filipino with your choice of eggs. 5th floor bat and snscks great"

"The wi-fi was limited. Despite being on a major road the location felt isolated, transportation early in the morning could be a challenge. Otherwise decent stay."

"Beautiful gardens and location with jungle mountains in the background. There is a pool on the way which will be a real bonus. The host retired Aussie Trevor and wife Jessa really make you feel like you're at home,while Ramil who apart from being a jack of all trades is a fantastic cook and takes care of any requests you may have. Jupiter's is a fun bar to hang out at night and sing a song if your keen."

"Was happy to stay there, bed was nice, would stay again, although Tacloban shuts down by 8pm, not exactly a tourist haven, not sure I need to visit Tacloban again. "

"Pretty much everything is average as I would expect from hotels I've been to in the Philippines so far. Not the cleanest or dirtiest just average but as I have come to expect great customer service."

"Is a cheap place to stay close to the airport and Robinson’s Tacloban, is ok for the price paid. "

"A great destination to relax and unwind . The staff make you feel special and apart of the family. The boat trip is a must to explore the coast line and see how some of the locals live . If you get a chance dive into the waters and refresh like i did you wont regret it . Just ask your boat driver if its the right time of year to swim . "

"Disappointed. Stayed for 6 days and booked 2 rooms; both are very small, just enough for the bed/s. Though the staff are accommodating, everything had to be requested (once they even forgot to give us the complimentary water).There's no in-house phone so you need to either go down to the front desk, or use your cellphone. Once we decided to just have dinner at the hotel because we were too tired to eat out, but were told they weren't serving dinner then. Hope they improve soon. "

"The staff are very helpful and accommodating. They assisted my parents(seniors) with very satisfactory. The place is clean and very near the airport, public transport is just at front of the hotel. Very convenient. "

"towels were not changed daily; only the first day had free bottled water. the water closet in the comfor room is defective; shower is okay with hot and cold options, but the pipe is leasking; the faucet has defective handle in room 303."

"The property was not the same on the pictures online, the picture looks elegant, And yet it was so old furnitures ,the room was so disappointed i payed 3 night for more than 10k and no breakfast included and no shower in the toilet , i did ask the reception if they can mended the shower but no action instead of using bucket and tabo all three nights ,,never experienced a hotel like this before, i am not coming back here again and definitely i am not recommend to my friends.."
