"The hotel is down a side street not far from Bangla but wasn't noisy . Turned up at 2 to check in but room wasn't ready until gone 4. Room small and smell like damp . Bed sheets were clean but the duvet inside didn't fit and was stained and dirty . The towels didn't smell fresh . Cockroach in room not really acceptable even in hot climate not was the rat running around in reception area hiding under a sofa ! The rooms are nothing like the pictures on the web site and must have been 20 years or...

"When arrived late at night to check in, I got informed the hotel as FULL and had to move me to another hotel nearby of lower standards (and rates) without explanations or compensation. Got moved back to the original hotel next day but had to change plans to check out early and be without a room until the afternoon. Towels were not changed for days."

"booked this hotel. When I got to reception they said they were fully booked. They sent me to one of the other hotels which was nearly 3 km away. which was too far away for me so didn’t end up staying there never got my money back."

"Just awesome! Had the best stay at Liv Hotel. So clean and tidy. The staff were amazing (special mention to the bar guy, Smart and manager, Nick) and the restaurant had yummy food - especially their mango sticky rice was to die for! Walkable distance to the markets and many restaurants nearby. Beach view was the highlight! Thank you Liv. We will definitely be back again :)"

"Establishment is the perfect mix of hostel life and people who want their own private rooms, although the private rooms are very small. Pool is wonderful (and open until 10!), and the bar and food are great! Location, location, location. Very close to the beach and Bangla Rd. People from all over stay here. To watch the pool area, you feel like you are watching Club MTV, that American TV show from the 80s where it is always Spring Break. Yet the music is never too loud and the room is pretty...
