"The staff were rusty. Not sure if they were new or they were just not on top of things. Didn’t feel welcomed. But hotel in general is good"

"The staff were very friendly and it is about a two minute walk from the train station. There are several really good restaurants within about 1 or 2 blocks and a lovely bar and restaurant attached. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. There is a fan in the room. The reason I downgraded for cleanliness is based on the hallways and stairwells. "

"The property is perfectly placed near shopping and dining options. For a single evening in Galway to see some of the city, the location is excellent to quickly walk and enjoy the evening. The place was clean, comfortable, and very enjoyable. Would definitely visit again!"

"Very clean, modern rooms, cleaned daily, bar is beautiful, the breakfast served wwas outstanding. The hotel is in a key location: across the st is the pick up for the tour bus going to Connamara, Kylemore Abbey amd Cong and also we walked 6min yo Galway docks to take ferry to Aran Islands. Hotel is 3min walk to Galeway train station and minutes walk to Latin quarter. Perfect location. Elevator broke the last day. That was the only issue. "

"Beautiful old grand hotel. Large room for our family of 4. Pool and whirlpool nice. Steam rooms were not working. Dry sauna was hot. Breakfast was nice. Nice atmosphere. Would come again. "

"Fabulous hotel and location, perfect for exploring and walking the city, close to pubs and restaurants and the dock. Self check-in so there was no interaction with staff. Only issue for me was the really large pillows which proved difficult for sleeping. I would definitely recommend!"

"Hotel is right by the train station, a beautiful green square, loads of restaurants and great shopping. Wonderful Skeffington Pub and great hotel staff."

"The hotel was a stone’s throw to Eyre Square. Easily walkable to all of Galway city. The rooms are very nice. Only tricky part was the parking garage. Just plan ahead if you have a rental car because the cars tend to block each other in. This was really a cool place to stay and I would stay there again, for sure. "

"The property had onsite parking available for guests. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. The shower was hot. Plenty of dinner options close by. "

"The hotel staff were so friendly! We chose this hotel last minute and were very happy with the decision. It was very easy to get to and a short drive to downtown. Our room was at the end of the hall and quiet. Very nice bathroom with plenty of toiletries. "
