They emailed us a day before we arrived and apologised that they were booting us to a another hotel without any explanation...we think it was a lower cost sister hotel...not impressed

I was originally booked at the Fairfield. Got an email transferring us to another hotel - The Crowne Plaza on Carlson. On the return leg, our room at the Crowne Plaza was below standard for several reasons. I wrote to Fairfield about this and never got a response. Hence the 1 star rating.

Didn’t stay at Fairfield but got transferred to Crowne Plaza which wasn’t a bad experience. Good service there

Close to the airport. I was booked to stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites but they sent yet another email telling me they were unable to give the room to me and I was going to stay at the Crowne Plaza. This has happened to me multiple times when I book at Fairfield and I am getting tired of it. Crowne Plaza and other places are fine but I prefer Fairfield. Soon I won't because I'm sick of being dumped out for no particular reason. I have usually booked far enough in advance of my travel dates that this should not be happening....but Fairfield keeps doing the same things.

I had originally booked at the Fairmont and received an email that my reservation was cancelled and they have booked us at the Crowne Plaza. Hotel looks nice but once in the room, it had 2 security guards on our floor. I have never had that before!! Once we got to the room, one of the numbers was missing for the room number in the hallway. Once in the room there was writing on the walls, walls were banged up. Hole in the bathroom above the shower. I wiped the headboard with a wipe, dirty! Tranition from flooring to tile was very poorly done and dirty. I booked a room with queen beds and we got double beds. I would not hve not choosen this hotel. ( and actually I didn't!)
