"It was OK since it is situated downtown so an advantage of being able to walk around the area is good. Nearby restaurants can be found once you step out of the door. Accommodations price is affordable just expect the least amount of comfort in your hostel room. The common area can be at 31deg during the daytime, wall fans are available though but working with a laptop computer could be very uncomfortable. Shower and Toilet rooms need a lot of improvements. Rats can be seen running around. "

"Amazing. Really friendly staff. Luxury clean room with all the amenities. Had the best night sleep so far in Manila. Definitely staying again. It is located in the entertainment district in Malate, but I was not bothered by noise from these venues, nor did I in any way feel unsafe when walking in the area during the day or early evening. I wouldn’t say it’s a social hostel but to relax and have a it of time for yourself it’s great. The owners are great: friendly and helpful. "Lovely hostel close to all amenities and the beach. Our room was basic room with 4 bunk beds and our private bathroom and shower. Towels are to rent, very cheap though. During our stay, there was an acoustic night, music was good, and the small bar was open for drinks. They also provide coffee and food during the day. This hostel is ideal of anyone who's always on the go: very close walk to the beach and D'Mall. "
