What you can expect

  • Begin your day with a morning kayak tour through the mangroves, choosing from three options. Paddle through the mangrove channels around Uzi Island, one of the most scenic kayaking areas in southern Zanzibar. Alternatively, enjoy the quieter waterways of Bwejuu with excellent birdlife and shaded mangrove tunnels. Or, opt for an eco-focused guided kayak experience.

After your kayak tour, take a break to have a snack, hydrate, and travel toward Jozani Forest. Visit Jozani Forest, Zanzibar's only national park and the best place to see the endemic Zanzibar red colobus monkeys. The guided walk includes forest trails and the mangrove boardwalk overlooking Chwaka Bay.

After your visit to the forest, enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant or continue to Paje or Jambiani for beachfront dining. After lunch, relax at Paje Beach, visit Jambiani village, or stop at Jozani Spice Farm for a short spice tour.
