Hi!
My name is Mayuko, a nationally licensed tour guide based in Kanagawa.
I have designed this unique experience combining a relaxing scenic hike and a naval port cruise in Yokosuka - perfect for travelers looking for something different from typical Tokyo tours.
[Tour Highlights]
- A scenic and refreshing hike in Yokosuka
- A fascinating naval port cruise
- Insights into local Japanese life and culture
[What you can expect]
- Discover hidden spots known mainly to locals
- Enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the mountains and coastline
- A relaxed, small-group experience with cultural and historical insights
[Itinerary]
This experience lasts approximately 6 hours and includes an easy-paced scenic walk.
We will visit a peaceful Temple hidden in nature, hike to a panoramic viewpoint on Mount Taka Tori, and see a remarkable Buddha statue carved into the rock.
After enjoying local specialties, we will take a short train ride before embarking on a naval port cruise.
[Hike difficulty]
The hike is generally considered easy to moderate. Guests with hiking experience will find it comfortable, while beginners may find some sections slightly challenging - but we always walk at a relaxed pace.
For your comfort and safety, I always adapt the pace to the group. If you prefer a slower or more personalized experience, private tour options are also available!
