Begin your adventure in the early morning with a journey to the peak of Merapi. Change vehicles to a jeep and head to a hidden sunrise spot in the Merapi area.

While waiting for the sunrise, admire the majestic view of Merapi. If you're lucky, you might even see the volcano emit lava. The cool air of Merapi might make you cold, but when the time comes, watch the sunrise appear from the east with a beautiful golden glow.

After watching the sunrise, go to the jeep basecamp and change vehicles. Continue your journey to Borobudur. Before the tour activities at Borobudur Temple, stop at a restaurant for breakfast if you wish.

After a short rest, continue to Borobudur Temple. Meet your guide and begin your climb to the stupa.
