What you can expect

  • Day 1: Borobudur and Prambanan

    Get picked up from your accommodation in Yogyakarta and journey to Manohara Gate, the VIP access point to Borobudur Temple. Climb to the temple and wait for sunrise. Admire the fine detail of the ancient carvings at Borobudur, Indonesia’s best-known monument, on a small group tour with a local guide. See the stupas at the top of the temple, and pack in a second UNESCO World Heritage site in. Soak up epic volcano views from the summit of the UNESCO-listed temple.

    Continue to Prambanan, the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia and second biggest in ASEAN. Explore the 3 main temples: Brahma, Shiva, and Vishnu. After exploring Prambanan Temple, continue to the train station. Take a train journey to Surabaya. Arrive in Surabaya and transfer to your hotel.

    Day 2: Mount Bromo

    Get picked up at midnight and journey to Mount Bromo for sunrise. Watch the sunrise from Seruni Hill or Kingkong Hill, then head to the sand and climb to Bromo Crater. Return to your hotel and continue to Banyuwangi.

    Day 3: Ijen Volcano

    Journey to Ijen Volcano to see the blue fire, sunrise, and blue crater. After that, get dropped off at Ketapang Port.
